Hair Loss And Hormones

Without right functioning of the hormones, your cells might malfunction. Hormones, in the same way, can be your enemy. It is because hormones might cause your hair loss if they are imbalanced. Hair loss, you know, is a life changing condition as it makes you feel repulsive & affects your self-confidence.

How do imbalanced hormones contribute to and cause hair loss?

Thyroid

Overactive and underactive thyroid glands cause hair loss and this condition is temporary. Arresting thyroid problems can stop hair loss & normal hair growth can once again begin.

Estrogen, female hormone

The hormone is main sex hormone in women and it is necessary for menstrual cycle. The increased estrogen at time of pregnancy extends growth phase of hair. After pregnancy excess hair can go in the resting phase and can shed thereafter. In normal process, the growth of the new hair can follow.

Testosterone, male hormone

This is opposite of estrogen that is female hormone and testosterone is hormone, which is very closely linked to the hair loss. The testosterone combining with five alpha reeducate is been converted in dihydrotestosterone. DHT is one main reason why lots of men experience the receding hairline & baldness of crown and vertex. It is thus, essential that women have sufficient estrogen to find action of the testosterone. This is avoiding the conversion in DHT and DHT is main reason why the balding happens.
